Dr.Web for Android Firewall

Controls application network activity and prevents sensitive information from being leaked.

The Firewall is compatible with Android 4.0 or later versions. In order for the Firewall to be used, a VPN connection is needed for Android (find out more). Dr.Web Firewall does not require super-user privileges (root) on a device. Dr.Web Firewall is disabled by default.

This feature is not available in the Dr.Web for Android Light license.

  • Filters the external network traffic of applications installed on a device and system applications in accordance with user preferences (Wi-Fi/cellular network filtering) and customisable rules (filtering by IP addresses and/or ports, and by entire networks or IP ranges);
  • Monitors current and previously transmitted traffic; provides information about the addresses/ports to which applications are connecting and the volume of inbound and outbound traffic;
  • Provides detailed logs.
